About Our School

The School Community

Bilbrook Middle School is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England Middle School. The school has links with Holy Cross Church in Bilbrook.

The school caters for children between the ages of 9 and 13 years. Our children come from a number of contributory schools in Bilbrook, Codsall and Pattingham as well as further afield. Our teaching covers all aspects of the National Curriculum which is broad and balanced. We are an inclusive school and our curriculum is differentiated in order to cater for the needs, abilities and interests of the children.

You will see from our vision statement that our priority is to support our pupils in developing the skills to be lifelong learners, within the secure environment of a Christian school.

We place great emphasis on academic progress and we also place great emphasis on the values that will enable our pupils to make a positive contribution both to the school community and to our democratic, multi-cultural society.

We have high expectations and we value hard work and discipline. Above all we are a caring community and this ethos underpins everything we do.

We are committed to working with parents and so, in addition to our formal contracts, we are happy to meet with parents at any time during the year to discuss individual progress and aspects of school policy.

We are very proud of our successes and we are constantly challenging ourselves to improve further. Please arrange a visit if you would like to find out more.
